Austria, Imperial. An Honour Decoration Of The Red Cross, Merit Star (Rothe Copy) United Republic of two piece construction - silver(Ehrenzeichen vom Roten Kreuz). Instituted on 14 August 1914. Post 1945 Copy. A silver Rupert cross whose lower cross arm is extended, with red enamel and white edging, with silver rays between the cross arm, the obverse centre presents a white enamelled medallion bearing a red enamelled cross, bordered by a ring of red enamel inscribed PATRIAE AC HUMANITATI (FATHERLAND AND HUMANITY), the reverse centre presents a white enamelled medallion bearing the
