Naval General Service Medal 1793-1840 GTRexclude and List of Men ofOne clasp, "EGYPT", officially impressed: John Marsh. Brackets have been additionally placed around 'Egypt', and '1801' has also been contemporarily engraved on clasp facing and reverse of exergue, minor edge bruising, therefore very fine. John Marsh served as Boy in H. M. S. Cameleon; two other men of this name appear on the Admiralty Claimants List which includes a single clasp award for Syria.
