CLEMATIS VIRGINIANA Sizes:1 GALLON POT Desirable as a lawn specimenLatin Name: Clematis virginiana Description: Commonly known as Virgin's Bower, this large, climbing perennial produces masses of delicate, sweetly scented, star shaped blooms with central protruding wispy white and yellow stamens, appearing to 'burst' from the small, dainty buds. A prolific bloomer, the blossoms of this plant completely hide the trifoliate, bright green foliage and bright crimson red stems in the late summer, blooming into the fall.
