Seymour Bottex (1922-2016) 20"x24" Offering Scene 1961 Oil on Masonite Painting #1MFN Artists/Jean Sebastien one of the contributing authorsSeymour E. Bottexs offering scene blends Haitian cultural symbolism with the artists refined, decorative Cap Hatien aesthetic. A family presents an offering beside a red cow, set against patterned greenery and sunlit mountains that evoke harmony between people, land, and tradition. Bottexs distinctive use of color, elongated forms, and textural detail lends both warmth and narrative clarity to the ritual moment. This piece is from Myriam Naders
