This hanging light does work and can be plugged into any regular outlet. It is a bright aqua color, with brass fittings and a pull on off switch. It is in used condition, with some scratches and discoloration particularly on the inside. I'm sure that this was someones helmet at one point and they made it into a light fixture. Very unique and one of a kind.
