They twist to open and the wire thickness is about 2. 5mm, depending on where you wear them. So your earholes have to be streched a little bit to wear these. We have been lucky to acquire a larger collection of these old and original berber hoops. Measurements are: Diameter: 10. 5cm (4") Wire Thickness: 2mm 3mm (thinnest and thickest part) Weight of pair: 68gr.
