A silver Grand Cross badge, composed of an eight point star of smooth rays, the central medallion features a right facing male portrait with holding a flag, surrounded by a red enamelled ring inscribed AL MERITO (FOR MERIT), with a thirteen point star encircling the medallion, the reverse medallion features the partially enamelled Argentinian coat of arms on a silver field, with a thirteen
