Germany, Third Reich. A Fire Brigade Honour Badge, Ii Class United Republic of Gerosasa - Large badge (49mm)(Reichsfeuerwehr Ehrenzeichen II. Klasse). Instituted 22 June 1936 by Wilhelm Frick. (1936 1945 issue). Constructed of silvered bronze with multi coloured enamels, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Geneva Cross, the obverse with white enameled arms bearing stylized red enameled flames, with a central white enameled medallion overlaid by a black mobile swastika, with a ring through the quadrants bearing an inscription of FR VERDIENSTE IM
