1977 $1 Federal Reserve Note Fr. 1909-G - Ink Smear/Splatter Error - Nominal VF Fr. 1513 Grade: Brilliant UncirculatedThis unusual error would be categorized, I believe, as an "ink smear" error. Yet it looks, for all the world, like an "ink sneeze". The reverse displays a truly unusual spattered speckled Kelly green ink splatter over virtually the entirety of the reverse (save two folded over corners when the error occurred).
