Prussia, Kingdom. An Order of the Red Eagle, IV Class Cross with Case, by Neuhaus & Sohn United Republic of in Gold and silver gilt(Roter Adler Orden Kreuz IV. Klasse mit Etui). Instituted 12 June 1792 by King Friedrich Wilhelm II. (1864 1918 issue). Constructed of silver with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Cross Patte with pebbled arms, the obverse overlaid by a white enameled medallion bearing a hand painted Prussian imperial eagle, the reverse bearing a central raised monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm II, the twelve oclock arm topped by an eyelet and suspension ring
