Their debut event in January 1969 featured a legendary Grateful Dead dance, immortalized by Rick Griffins psychedelic masterwork, "Aoxomoxoa" (AOR 2. 24). The art was so impactful that the Dead adopted both the title and imagery for their third studio album later that
