This patron saint of mercy is so called through her unswerving commitment to the Lord's message of mercy. In 1931, after ardent efforts to follow her vocational call, Jesus revealed himself to St. Faustina Kowalska as the King of Divine Mercy. Jesus presented himself to Faustina wearing white robes with rays of scarlet and white emanating from his chest.
