19th c. Brass LeMaire Fabt Paris Binoculars c.1880 Small Cabinets A collection of four antiqueABOUT This is an original pair of brass binoculars marked on the eyepiece with "LeMair Fabt Paris". The objective lenses are 40mm in diameter and their optics are good. The barrels are all brass and probably were covered in leather at one point. The black metal focus wheel works well. CREATOR LeMaire Fabt, Paris. DATE OF MANUFACTURE c. 1880s. MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Brass, Metal, Optical Glass. CONDITION Good. With appropriate patina for age.
