French Galilean Binoculars and Leather Case by Iris de Paris c.1880 Drawings "The Best of the WestABOUT This is an original pair of French Galilean binoculars manufactured by Iris de Paris, France. They are marked on each eyepiece with "Iris Paris". The objective lenses are 40mm in diameter and their optics are good. The frame is a chrome coated metal and the barrels are covered with tan enamel. One barrel is indented slightly. The black metal focus wheel works well.
