In silver (hollow) with black enamelled arms with ball finals, the obverse with a white enamelled central medallion with a red enamelled cross, surrounded by a silver ring inscribed Volontaires Internationaux de la Croix Rouge (French International Volunteers of the Red Cross) on the obverse, the reverse with equally black enamelled arms and a silver central medallion, inscribed Ambulance Dvouement
