A Bravery Medal in Bronze, with Case consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac with a sharpened edge(Tapferkeitsmedaille 1915 Bronze). Instituted 20 February 1915 by Duke Ernst II. (1915 1918 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Cross Patte defaced by a central crowned Saxon coat of arms, with the three and nine oclock arms bearing a date of 1914, the reverse bearing the raised monogram of Duke Ernst II, unmarked, measuring 31. 17 mm in diameter, weighing 15. 5 grams,
